| Biography |
Sheila J. “Nanny” Pyle, died Friday, December 18, 2009 at her home.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday Dec. 23, 2009 at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home with Reverend O.J. Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Smithville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5 until 8 P.M.
She was born July 24th 1943 in Parsons West Virginia the daughter of Russell and Jessie Roe Hebb. In 1975 she married Larry Pyle, who survives.
Shelia was a homemaker. She loved playing music at her home with her country western band, “Sheila and the Ramblin Rebels”. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, flowers, fishing and crocheting.
Also surviving are her children: Cheryl (Steve) Blake of Holmesville, Rod (Kristine) Pyle of Marshalville, and Wendy Pyle of Holmesville. A step-daughter: Donna (Kevin) Weltmer of Wooster. 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Sisters: Margaret “Margie” (James) Pelfrey of Warsaw, and Tina Thiel of Wooster.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers: Michael, Thomas, James, and Ronald Hebb and a sister Virginia Wilson.
