| Biography |
WOOSTER - Marilyn E. BADERTSCHER, 70, of Wooster, passed away Thursday January 28, 2010 in Glendora Nursing Home.
She was born February 25, 1939 in Holmes Co the daughter of Paul and Gladys Manson Mackey.
She was a homemaker and had been self employed as a floral arranger and was affectionally known to her customers as the "flower lady" and had worked at Noletti's Bakery in the 50's. She enjoyed painting and doing floral designs, animals, gardening, family and friends and the outdoors..
Surviving are sons, Dale Lee (Debbie) Badertscher of Wooster and Daniel Badertscher of Orrville; a step-son, David Brubaker of Newcomerstown, 9 grandchildren, sisters, Mary Lou Wade of Apple Creek and Cindy Maglio of Orrville and a brother, Paul Mackey of Orrville.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roger D. Badertscher, in 1985 whom she married February 16, 1963 and sisters, Linda Davison and Carol Putnam.
Friends will be received at the at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Sunday, January 31, 2010 from 6-8:00 P.M.
Services will be held at Funeral Home on Monday, February 1, 2010 at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in the Smithville Cemetery, Smithville.
The family would like to thank the staff at Glendora Health Care Center where she enjoyed her time as a resident and Hospice & Palliative Care of Greater Wayne Co. for all their care and devoted attention.
