WOOSTER - Rosa Lee HOUSE, 93, of Wooster, passed away Monday, March 29, 2010 in her home.
She was born January 26, 1917 in Williston, SC, daughter of Eddie and Sina Smith Akery.
She was a homemaker and a member of Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witnesses.
Surviving are her children, Annie House of Wooster, Shirley (Charles) Inman of Wooster, Alvin (Olivia) House of Pikesville, MD and Margaret Moore of Lakeland, FL, Arthur (Gail) House Jr. of Hampton, VA, Willie (Ernestine) House of Wooster, Carolyn Diaz of Ocala, FL, Mary Hall of NJ, Joe Jackson of Lakeland, FL and Margaret (Canty) Gaddy of Mansfield, 36 grandchildren, host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Leroy Wright of Leesburg, FL.
Rosa was preceded in death by parents and step father Herman Wright, husband, Arthur House, Sr. in 1988, brothers Bowman, Charlie, David, Zed and Dan Wright, Ernest Jackson and sisters Mary Jane Wright and Cora Rimes.
Services will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3233 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691, on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. with Neil Culp officiating. Interment will follow in the Wooster Cemetery, Wooster.
Friends will be received at the at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Friday evening from 6-8:00 p.m.
