Tonya K. Duffy 54, of Wooster died Friday April 9, 2010 in Wooster Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday April 13, 2010 at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home 216 E. Larwill St. Wooster, Ohio. With the Rev. Randall Gehres officiating. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6-8 P.M.
She was born July 21, 1955 in Orrville Ohio the daughter of Davis T. and Marjorie Weaver. Tonya had worked for Community Action and as a cook at Ryans Steakhouse. She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Orrville.
Surviving are her children: Christopher Duffy and his fiancée Marlene Nisley of Wooster, Angela (Chuck) Brenneman of Wooster. Her adopted children: Christina Caine of Wooster, and Holly Layfield of Wooster. A sister Sandy Bender of Orrville, and her grandchildren: Triston, Kaylynn, Allie, Kyle, Cirston, and Jaydon.
