Biography
WOOSTER - Russell S STALL, 85, of Wooster passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2010 in his home.

He was born June 5, 1925 in Blue Rock, OH, the son of William E and Wilma Huffman Stall.

He had worked for OARDC/OSU in the Animal Science Dept. as the Sheep Dept. Manager and in his retirement he worked part time for 10 years at the College of Wooster. He attended the Moreland United Methodist Church and was a former member of the Grace Brethren Church. Russell was a loyal fan of all Ohio sports and Triway sports in which his grandson participated. He was a member of the Ohio Heartland Sheep Improvement Assoc., a member of the American Legion Post 551 of Holmesville, a member of the Targhee Sheep Assoc. and enjoyed his time at the Wirt Garage in Moreland. He served his country with the U.S. Navy during WWII.

Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Mabel E Mitchell Stall; his daughters, Teresa "Terri" Geiger and Martha "Marty" (Gary) Klepper of Wooster; grandson, Nathan "Nate" "Bo" Klepper, 2 step-grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Vonda Lee Spreng of Columbus and Lavera Huff and brothers, Gene (Donna) Stall and Paul Stall all of Zanesville.

Russell was preceded in death by his parents, a son-in-law Walt Geiger and 2 siblings.

Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the 2:00 p.m. service at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill Wooster on Saturday, June 19, 2010 with the Rev. Tom Fish officiating. Burial will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
