WOOSTER - William C. ACKERMAN, 61, of Wooster, passed away Monday, June 28, 2010.
He was born March 25, 1949 in Wooster, the son of Frederick and Dorothy Baker Ackerman.
He was a controller for Hobby's and Associates Nursery and was a member of the F.O.E..
Surviving are sons, Jeremy (Ashley) Ackerman of Wooster and Richard Ackerman of Wisconsin; his siblings Ronald E. (Susan) Ackerman of Wooster, Thomas L. (Juleah) Ackerman of Shreve, Lloyd P (Lilia) Ackerman of Wooster, Nancy (Dan) Burkhart of Wooster, Victoria J. (Wayne) Pruitt of Wooster, Dale R. Ackerman of Fredericksburg, Susan K. (Andy) Morris of Vanleer, TN, James R. (Kathy) Ackerman of Fredericksburg and Amy L. (John) Scott of Fredericksburg.
William was preceded in death by his parents.
A gathering of friends will be held Thursday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.
There will be no services.
